Robert Lee Byington passed peacefully on Saturday, May 4, 2024, surrounded by his family.
Robert’s passing is preceded by his wife of 59 years, Karen Lea. He is survived by his four children, Robert Jr., Michael, Tina Marie (Alex), and Daniel (Pam); six grandchildren, Samantha (Ryan), Jeremy (MaKayla), Nicole, Taylor, Kelsey, and Casey Lynn; and three great-grandchildren, Monica, Natalee, and Clark.
In addition to spending time with his family, Robert enjoyed traveling and sports, including bowling, softball and golf. He was a member and treasurer of Our Savior Deaf Lutheran Church.
A private service was held with his family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Robert’s honor to the Wisconsin School for the Deaf.
