Gary Gene Schleicher, born January 6, 1945 and passed away August 23, 2024.
Gary was born in Milwaukee to Norma and Edward Schleicher. While attending Delavan School for the Deaf, he met his future wife, Barbara Strickland, and married in 1965.
Gary was very active in his church and with the deaf community (GMAD). He loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his son, James (LaVonne) Schleicher; brothers, Ronald and Richard Schleicher; brother-in-law, John Murphy; son-in-law, Eric Dillman; grandchildren, Zachary, Joseph, Bailey, Jesse, Ethan and Olivia; great-grandchildren, Natalia, Aiden, Noah, Jaxson and Aribella; along with many nieces, nephews and many, many more friends.
Preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; daughter, Pamela Dillman; grandchildren, Breanna and Nicholas; and siblings, Wayne, Kenneth and Janine.
Visitation to be held Saturday, September 28th from 9AM until 11AM with service to follow at Pilgram Lutheran Church, 2664 N. 68th St., Wauwatosa, WI 53213. Private burial at Graceland Cemetery.
